A Letter from Jimmy & Amanda
Howdy from Texas! We are grateful for the opportunity to introduce ourselves to you. 6 years ago we discovered we are unable to have children naturally and chose to pursue a path of adoption. We have a strong Christian foundation and look forward to building the same for your child. We spend our time with our family at our racetrack and ranch. We enjoy being outdoors, fishing, and playing different sports. We are open to letters, pictures, and yearly visits.
About US
We have been together for 15 years and married for 6 years. Our home is in South Texas where we live on the gulf coast. We spend our free time at the beach and at our family ranch. Family is a big part of our lives and we even have a family band! We enjoy playing music on weekends together and hanging out at our family-owned racetrack. We love going fishing, golfing, and playing kickball with our nieces and nephews. We have two dogs, Charlie and Ghazi, and we love taking them for walks down the beach shore whenever able. Jimmy builds custom homes for a living and Amanda is the financial officer at her family’s business. Our faith is our foundation in life. We believe it is our path to create our family through adoption and we feel blessed to do so. We look forward to building your child a solid foundation with a loving support system. We look forward to sharing with them our passion for family, adventure in the outdoors, and love for music!
Our Home in Texas
Our home is a cozy, welcoming home with a large acre lot. We have 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an open kitchen and living room concept. Centrally located in the city, we live about 10 minutes from the beach and 10 minutes from our family ranch- which is perfect for us. We get a little bit of country, beach, and city all in one. We enjoy going for evening walks with our dogs through our beautiful walking trails next to our home. We also have a great surrounding community that we are excited to share with our child.
Meet Jimmy
Jimmy loves doing home improvements around our house and is a master craftsman. His occupation is building custom homes and he plans to build our family a new home within the next couple of years. Jimmy is a very hard worker with a heart for family. He enjoys working on classic cars, go-kart racing with family, fishing, and taking trips to the beach in our dune buggy. He also loves managing our vegetable garden and caring for animals. He is the most honest, kind, silly, and compassionate person I know. His patience, warmth, and determination are some of the reasons why I know he will make a wonderful father. Jimmy looks forward to teaching and helping our child tackle any obstacles life throws their way.
Meet Amanda
Amanda works with her family in their automotive business. They are a close-knit family who gets along well together and have been in business for over 3 generations! She plans to be a stay at -home parent. Amanda loves nature and being outdoors taking care of her pond, garden, dogs, and chickens. She enjoys going to the beach, collecting seashells, fishing, and bowling. I know she will make a great mother because she is loving, loyal, compassionate, and nurturing. Amanda looks forward to reading bedtime stories, saying our nightly prayers, supporting them through all of life, and spending time together with our child.
Our Family
We are both blessed to have close-knit families. Amanda comes from a large family, she is 1 of 5 children and has 7 nieces and nephews and with lots of cousins, aunts, and uncles we are close to. Jimmy is from a smaller family with 2 siblings and 3 nieces and nephews. We always find a reason to get together! We enjoy spending time playing games, instruments, singing, playing softball and kickball, riding go-karts and 4 wheelers, spending time at our ranch, and fishing off the pier at our family’s beach house. We have fun family traditions and love getting together for every holiday. Both of our families are incredibly supportive and excited about growing our family through adoption.

| Special Interest | Our family race car track is incredibly special to us. Amanda’s parents built it from the ground up and we spend a lot of time here with family and friends. We host several charity events throughout the year here with all proceeds going to different children’s organizations. | |
| More About Our Home | Our first home is very special to us. It is more than walls and a roof, especially for Amanda and her family, as this was their family home growing up. There are many memories and life lessons that make a house a home. For instance, Amanda and her sisters’ hand imprints in concrete and the trees her father planted. We are honored to live in a home with a history of love and devotion. Owning an older home has been a great learning experience with many opportunities to learn different trades involved in the upkeep of a home. This has helped pave the path for Jimmy’s current career. | |
| Our Musical Interest | Our family loves playing music for fun! Most of our family members play instruments and the whole family enjoys getting together on the weekends to sing karaoke and BBQ. Jimmy sings beautifully and looks forward to singing to our child and teaching them the happiness that music brings. | |
| Traditions | We get together with the family for every holiday. Our favorite holidays are Christmas, Thanksgiving and Easter. We spend Christmas Eve at the ranch opening gifts with parents and siblings, nieces and nephews and Christmas day at our beach house cooking a big dinner with the family and extended family. Easter we spend having a huge Easter egg hunt and BBQ with the entire family. We look forward to sharing these traditions with our child. | |
